Between the human realm and Faerie lie The Briar Lands, a toxic, magic-starved liminality full of danger and desperation. To render the Lands hospitable for Fae again, the cruel Briar Crown has abducted dozens of mortals, yoking them into servitude and labor under the Crown"s authority.
Yet power is slippery here. The most resourceful mortals have stolen, bribed, or bartered their way to better standing-or even freedom. The Crown"s vassals and its ruthless Dogs are not as loyal as they may seem. Everyone has aspirations in this hard-bitten colony, but only the shrewdest, toughest, and luckiest will see them realized.
Play one mortal and one Fae, put them in impossible situations, and discover what you will sacrifice to get what you want. Will you bend the Briar Lands to your will, or will you see them brought down?
