2026 COVID-19 Policy Update

Feb 12, 2026

We have an important update about our COVID-19 policies for 2026 as we continue to navigate the best way to protect the health and safety of our attendees.

We know that vaccination is a valuable tool in reducing the spread and severity of COVID-19 (among other infectious diseases). We ask that everyone get an updated vaccination (within the past year) before attending, if it is possible for them to do so. Speaking candidly, we also know that in light of state/federal government and other systemic failures of our public health system, we cannot equitably enforce a requirement to provide proof of vaccination within the last year. With this in mind, we are changing Go Play NW’s COVID-19 vaccination policy around admission to the following.

To gain entry to the Go Play NW 2026 Summer event, all attendees must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test, either PCR or antigen, administered within 72 hours prior to their entry to Go Play NW 2026, regardless of vaccination status. For greatest efficacy, all attendees should take at least two tests 48 hours apart; however, with the growing price of tests and the difficulty of acquiring them in some areas, we recognize that this may not always be possible. (Go Play NW will still have a limited number of antigen tests available at the door.) All attendees should get the latest COVID-19 vaccination within the year before the event. However, we will not require checking your vaccination status at the door.

All other COVID-19 precautions (requiring indoor masking, using air filters, etc.) will remain in place. Our COVID-19 Policy page will be updated shortly to reflect the 2026 policy.

Our 2026 membership drive is about to kick off! We’re excited to see you at our Summer event!
