As the unseasonably sunny weather here in Seattle reminds us, Spring is coming and with that our online event! All of our Go Play NW events happen because you show up and play games, and while the glorious excitement of the Donut pitch circle awaits, there is also the joy of anticipation in scheduling a game and watching people get excited for it! If you’re interested in running a game, the submissions are now open at Submit A Game We’ll be opening signups a week after submission, so get those games in (submissions will remain open until March 9th)!
Volunteer with us!
Alongside the folks facilitating fun with games, Go Play NW also couldn’t happen without volunteers; for the online event, that means Donut MCs to facilitate the Donut pitch circle, Donut Assistants to manage the backstage magic of the Donut, and Friendly Faces to welcome online attendees, hang out in voice chat, answer questions, and generally make the discord a welcoming place. If you’d like to help with any of those roles, head to Volunteer with Go Play NW and fill out the signup form!
Membership Drive on the horizon!
As if the online event weren’t enough, we’re also going to be launching our Membership Drive on February 13th, where you can buy Supporting or Attending Memberships to keep us going and, with the latter, join us for the in-person event this summer! Keep your eyes peeled for the kickoff notification!
