Prepare yourself for: The Zine Zone
We're pleased to announce a new feature coming to Go Play NW Seattle Summer 2025: The Zine Zone!
The Zine Zone, run by the wonderful Kate and Brendan, is a space where all weekend you can delve into the world of zines:
- Leave a zine and take a zine at the Zine Trading Post
- Don’t forget to bring your zines if you want to trade!
- Read a zine about zines from the Zine Zone Zines About Zines Zine Library
- Scan a zine you made at Go Play NW
- Print a zine or other play materials
- Use the saddle stapler, bone folder, and scissors
Never made a zine before? Brendan and Kate will be hosting a workshop Saturday morning: The Zine Zone Presents: Make an RPG Zine Right Now! It will be a dedicated time for you to sit down and write a game, an adventure, a supplement, a piece of criticism, or anything else!
Even if you can't make the workshop, Kate and Brendan will happily guide you through the zone of zines. Come say hi!
All this is coming up soon! If you haven’t yet, register to attend, sign up for some scheduled games or submit a game to run, consider hopping in the Donut, and make your plans to join us at Centilia Cultural Center — the Seattle Summer event starts Friday, July 18!
