Thank you for a successful Membership Drive 2025
Together, 83 members helped us raise a total of $11,567 towards our overall budget for the year, ensuring we can hold the Seattle Summer in-person gaming weekend! That includes reaching our goals for outdoor space with more tents, and almost reaching the improved sound baffling curtains goal! If you were hoping we’d get to that last one, fear not—read on about what’s next!
Full weekend and single-day tickets
We’ll soon be opening the regular ticket sales for the in-person Seattle Summer event. As mentioned previously, the price of the full-weekend attending membership ticket will increase to $120. We’ll also be adding in single-day attending membership tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And supporting memberships (and options for extra membership dues) will still be available as well.
Indoor improvements
Although we haven’t yet quite reached our 85-membership goal for sound baffling, we do expect we’ll have more than enough attendees to make that worthwhile, and funding to get the higher-quality drapes that offer better noise reduction. We’ll be watching our attendee count as well to see whether we’ll need some extra space to accommodate 110 or more people!
Sponsored attendance
We do have sponsored tickets available for underrepresented community members who would have trouble attending Go Play NW for ANY reason. We’re looking forward to revealing the final artwork by Sovanny Vorn for the Secret Club wooden pin and the On-the-Go YETI tumbler! We’re expecting to post that on our website around the end of April, so keep an eye out for that and more information about the Seattle Summer event—including the opening of game scheduling!
